On Wednesday 11 June, Cybersalon is launching a season of events
focusing on the Creative City. Over the next year, we'll be inviting
people who are at the forefront of developing new ideas, culture,
products and technologies to provide their insights and inspire our
discussions.

Cybersalon is delighted that Armin Medosch will be the opening
speaker for our Creative City season. Back in November 1997,
he gave a talk about art and business at the first ever Cybersalon.
More than a decade later, Armin will be revisiting what was said
then, analysing what has changed in the intervening period and
showing how what we've learntcould be applied to improving our
lives within the Creative City.

Following Armin's presentation, Richard Barbrook will give a short
response before opening up the questioning to the audience.
Cybersalon would like you to come along not only to hear what
they have to say, but also to contribute your own ideas to the
conversation. Knowledge is a collective endeavour!

Armin's article on 'The Economy of Art in the Information Age'
is now available on the Cybersalon website.
